Visual notes · photography as field evidence

Images as unfinished arguments.

The image archive is secondary to the essays, but not decorative. It holds city fragments, street-level observations and images that may later become arguments.

How to read a visual note

A visual note is a place to keep evidence before it becomes an essay: a road curve, a ferry route, a storefront, a table, a patch of shade. The image does not need to prove the whole argument. It only needs to hold the detail that made the question feel real.
