1. Scope

This Privacy Policy describes the data practices of the MixMatter publisher. It applies to MixMatter's public product pages, documentation, and the use of MixMatter as a Skills-only Plugin or Agent Skill in compatible host environments such as ChatGPT or Codex.

This policy describes only what the MixMatter publisher does. It does not replace the privacy policy of the host platform a user chooses.

2. Publisher and product structure

MixMatter is published by Fan Jiale, an individual developer, under the Galok brand. Galok is a personal publishing brand and not a separate legal entity.

The current Skills-only version does not operate a separate MixMatter account system, user database, MCP service, or standalone MixMatter image-generation backend.

3. Information the publisher independently collects

Through the normal MixMatter Skill workflow, the publisher does not independently receive or store copies of:

MixMatter does not require those categories of information to perform its normal reconstruction workflow.

The publisher may receive limited information through the following separate public or support channels:

SourceInformationPurposeRecipient or service involved
Public website accessIP address, browser/device type, request time, requested path, and basic technical or security logsSecurity, performance, troubleshooting, and network operationHosting, CDN, DNS, and security infrastructure providers
Email sent voluntarily to the publisherSender email address and message contentsResponding to questions, support requests, complaints, or legal noticesThe publisher and the email service provider
Public GitHub Issue opened voluntarily by a userInformation the user chooses to postPublic project support, bug reports, and feedbackGitHub and the public

The publisher does not use these channels to build advertising profiles, sell personal data, or conduct cross-site behavioral tracking.

4. Host-platform processing

Source photographs, prompts, conversation content, and generated images are processed by the host platform selected by the user under that platform's own privacy policy, terms, and retention practices.

Those materials are not transmitted to a separate MixMatter server through the Skill workflow.

MixMatter does not control how a host platform stores, retains, trains on, exports, deletes, or otherwise processes host-platform data. Users should review and use the privacy and account controls offered by the host platform.

5. Website access data

MixMatter's public website may rely on third-party hosting, CDN, DNS, or security infrastructure. Those providers may process routine technical logs for security, performance, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, or network operation.

The publisher does not intentionally use the MixMatter website for advertising profiling or cross-site tracking.

6. Cookies and analytics

Unless otherwise disclosed on the relevant public page, MixMatter does not intentionally set advertising-targeting cookies.

If analytics, error monitoring, or similar services are introduced in the future, this policy will be updated where the change materially affects data practices.

7. Categories of recipients

For data the publisher may receive outside the host-platform Skill workflow, categories of recipients are limited to:

Host-platform processing is separate: the user provides source images, prompts, and conversation content directly to the host platform, which processes them under its own policies.

MixMatter does not sell personal data, does not sell user content to advertisers, and does not use data brokers.

8. Retention

The publisher does not operate a separate retention system for user photographs, prompts, conversations, or generated images because those materials are not independently received through the Skill workflow.

Routine website logs may be retained according to the schedules and operational practices of the relevant infrastructure providers.

Email sent directly to the publisher may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request and maintain ordinary support records. A user may request deletion of information they sent directly by email, subject to reasonable technical and legal limitations.

Public GitHub Issues remain subject to GitHub's controls, policies, and retention practices, as well as actions available to the user who posted the content.

9. User images and content

Users should only upload photographs and other materials they have the right to use, including photographs that depict identifiable people.

The publisher does not claim ownership of users' original photographs and does not independently store those photographs through the normal Skill workflow.

Rights in generated outputs may also be affected by the host platform's terms, applicable law, the rights associated with source material, and third-party rights.

10. User controls and requests

Users can stop providing new content to MixMatter by not installing, enabling, or invoking it.

Deletion, export, training, and similar controls for host-platform chats, uploaded images, and generated outputs are managed through the host platform, not through a separate MixMatter account.

Users should avoid including unnecessary sensitive personal information in prompts or uploaded images because the MixMatter workflow does not require it.

Do not post private photographs, credentials, or other sensitive information to public GitHub Issues.

To request deletion of information sent directly to the publisher by email, contact galokview@outlook.com.

11. Children's privacy

MixMatter is not directed specifically to children.

Users must comply with applicable age requirements in their jurisdiction and with the age policies of the host platform they use.

12. Sale of personal data and advertising

MixMatter does not sell users' personal data and does not sell user content to advertisers.

The current Skills-only version does not operate an independent advertising system.

13. Security

MixMatter uses a data-minimizing architecture that avoids unnecessary independent collection of user information.

No online system can guarantee absolute security. Security measures for host-platform data and website infrastructure are controlled by the relevant service providers.

14. International use

MixMatter may be used through host platforms and website infrastructure that operate in more than one country.

The publisher does not operate a separate cross-border transfer of user photographs or prompts because those materials are not sent to the publisher through the Skill workflow.

Routine technical website logs may be processed by infrastructure providers in the countries where those providers operate.

Privacy requirements vary by jurisdiction. Users are responsible for using the host platform and MixMatter in a manner that complies with applicable law and the host platform's rules.

15. Changes to this policy

If MixMatter later adds a standalone backend, user accounts, analytics, external APIs, MCP services, or other features that materially change its data practices, this Privacy Policy will be updated.

Material changes will be reflected on the public website or project repository with a revised effective date.
